Description
For experienced players who have completed Creating Songs Parts 1 – 4 with Cornell.
In this installment of the Native Flute Player’s Music Workshop, we’ll look deeper into melodic development and key relationships.
- Developing compositions derived from another song’s or composer’s melodic themes
- Further understanding of relationships between different keyed NAFs
- Development of our own composition style
- Draw upon previous work with perspective, texture, mood/emotion and scene painting
Some experience with notation, tablature and number systems will be helpful for this class. Native flutes and other world flute traditions are welcome.
