Join Cornell Kinderknecht on Mondays at 12:00-12:30pm US Central Time, online through Zoom, for a mindfulness meditation practice with music.
Each online gathering includes:
- Short introduction or instruction
- Mindfulness session:
- Guided meditation to connect with the breath and to help relax the body
- Meditation with music
- Invitation to bring your own music into your personal meditation (this is just for you, there’s no requirement to play for the group, your microphone will be off). You can also choose to sit silently, hum, write, paint, draw…
- Sharing and discussion
Cornell will be a guest musician at the 11:00am service.
For experienced players and songwriters who have completed Creating Songs levels 1-4 with Cornell.
In this installment of the Native Flute Player’s Music Workshop, we’ll look deeper developing melodies derived from other song’s or composer’s melodic themes. We’ll also look further into relationships between different keyed flutes.
Some experience with notation, tablature and number systems will be helpful for this class. Native flutes and other world flute traditions are welcome.

This class meets online once a month through Zoom. Conducted in a seminar-style, Cornell will give tips and techniques to develop your transverse flute playing in a supportive group environment. The class and material are geared towards those who play another instrument are adding transverse flute to their skill set. Material is clear and easy to follow.

Art and War in the Renaissance: The Battle of Pavia Tapestries marks the first time that this entire cycle of seven large-scale tapestries—some of the most awe-inspiring examples of this often-overlooked artform—has been on view in the United States.
The Wireless Consort will perform music of the 16th and 17th Centuries for recorder quartet on period instruments at this private members event. Cornell Kinderknecht, Jennifer Carpenter, Susan Richter, Alice Derbyshire.
