In this installment of the Native Flute Player’s Music Workshop, we’ll look further into creating music for solo flute, multiple flutes, or flute combined with other instruments. We’ll explore the tonal qualities of our various keyed flutes and how that affects our composition.

Limited to 20 persons.
Develop our musical ideas into songs. Play with direction and flow when improvising. Work with songwriting and song structure basics as well as unique and fun ways to come up with melodies. The ability to read music is not required for this course but it is helpful to have some experience with tablature, numbering or notation systems.
This class is open to those with some playing experience. The main focus will be with Native flute but other world flutes are welcome.
